2023 was a real journey for me. My life got incredibly complex, ridiculously easy, and everything in between! Through all the ups and downs, the celebrations and tantrums, I managed to stick to my reading goal of the year. I wanted to read 50 books in 2023 and I ended up reading 52.

I didn’t manage to read my way through much of my tbr piles as I read far more on Kindle.

In total I read, 15,757 pages across 52 books and 34hr 32mins of audiobooks.

I don’t think I’ll ever again reach the level of books I read in 2019 (137) but with all that 2023 brought me, I’m happy with what I accomplished and happy that I finished my goal of books.

For 2024 – my reading challenge is 60 books and I am determined to read through the books I have unread dotted around my home. Fingers crossed I at least break through my tbr pile!
