For someone who hasn’t read the Lord of the Rings books, I do so enjoy the story. Let me explain, I tried to read the books, I really did but I never even left the Shire. People kept telling me to stick with it but I just couldn’t understand why I needed several pages of detail about a staircase. I found the language very difficult to understand and my ability to process was very much in play, making it extremely difficult for me to understand what I was reading. In the end, I gave up. I’ve seen the films multiple times and then I started to read the fan fiction. It gave me new appreciation and allowed me to read with a better understanding. The stories in this part range from 2013 to 2016.
