When I started this blog back in January, it was to help me to better manage my time with book reading and to manage my OCD. I never thought I’d get any followers beyond my own parents but I continued to blog as it had become a relaxing experience for me.
I wanted to create a safe space where I could talk about the books I read to an audience who also enjoyed books. I don’t know anyone of my generation of friends who enjoy reading even half as much as I do. My attempts as getting my office colleagues to read has also fallen of deaf ears.
I knew when I started this blog that it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea because I knew I would be doing things the way they made sense to me and not the way that they made sense to everyone else.
I only allow myself to look at my followers once a month. This is just so I don’t go down an anxiety spiral but also so I can still maintain control of my blog and what content I put out there.
You may have noticed that I have a problem with adding new pages and different tags. I always think of something new I can add because I always want my page to grow and expand. But you’ll notice that I also like structure and routine, so my posts are all exactly where they should be and never fall out of line.
I am forever grateful that my followers keep going up. 51 follows seems like a lot to me and I’m astounded that that many people thought my blog was worth following!
Hopefully as my blog continues to grow, you’ll still find it interesting and continue on the journey with me. I’d like to thank each and everyone of my followers – I won’t list you, that would be embarrassing – but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for following this blog and allowing me to continue my ramblings.

Congratulations on thr milestone! We have a lot of love to share in the [book] blogging community. 😍😍
