I’ve actually been planning this post for quite a while – so you don’t have to start thinking I’m crazy with another new blog post!! I try not to have many expectations when reading because I always get disinterested. I’ve done lists of what I want to read in the past and then I’ve avoided…

January Roundup
To kick of 2020 I managed to read 7 books in January and listen to 1 audiobook. I know that this is a low number of books for me, I can usually read around 15 in a month, but I found it kind of hard to get back into the swing of things once Christmas…
Ramble #9
The start of the week went by quickly. On Tuesday evening I had interupted sleep. On Wednesday evening I slept every couple of hours. On Thursday evening I might have well stayed away. Oh the drama of insomnia. This week I read one book, discarded another book, listened to an audiobook and created a new…
3 Fact Book News – 30/01/2020
“More?” I hear you say, “she isn’t adding more to her blog?!” Yes. I am. You see, there is a lot I don’t put in my blog, books I get, books I discard, books I don’t finish reading and many other book related sins. I was looking at my tbr shelves yesterday and feeling overwhelmed…
Peter Pan Goes Wrong – UK Tour – by Mischief Theatre
I took my parents to see ‘Peter Pan Goes Wrong’ on Saturday 18th January and it was an experience I’ll never forget. I have been wanting to see this production since I watched the BBC production for it during Christmas 2016. So when I got the email from ATG Tickets that the UK tour was…

Rambles #7
It’s been a funny old week. For starters it has flown by. I got back from Skiing late on Saturday (11th), after a delayed takeoff and a taxi driver who seemed intent on doing 50 in a 30mph windy country place. I got very car sick. On Sunday, I cooked with my Dad for the…

Book Haul | Jan 9th
It only took me 9 days to break my promise and buy books! Really, there is no stopping me! I am my own worse enemy! I didn’t buy them because I was bored – which is usually the culprit. I bought them because I’d just finished ‘The One’ by John Marrs and wanted to read…
